講者簡介:
何智聰先生(Hamish)是Ocean Three的創辦人,中學畢業後日間在地盤工作,晚上在半工讀下以八年時間取得學士學位,後來努力發展網上業務,但好景不常,何智聰卻在2008年金融海潚下失業,同一時期卻遇上網上業務的客戶訂單退單。此時,Hamish人生遭受了一連串嚴重打擊。但他最後以毅力及積極的心態為自己扭轉命運,與搭檔成立Ocean Three網上速遞店,首次打破港人對於生蠔及高級食材的購物習慣。
隨著生意越做越大,Ocean Three在2009年開設第一間生蠔食材店,並於六年間開設七間門市,於世界各地找尋優質食品零售及分銷往香港各零售商,現佔全港超過60%的生蠔供應量。 Ocean Three現時更設有多樣化的服務,如即日到會服務,品酒開蠔班及包場服務等。
Speaker profile:
Mr. Hamish Ho is the founder of Ocean Three Department Limited. After graduating from high school, he worked on construction sites during the day and studied for a bachelor’s degree at night in eight years time. He became unemployed in 2008 due to the financial crisis, whilst he encountered a number of order refunds for the online business. Therefore, Hamish decided to break through the bottom of his life by setting up Ocean Three online courier with his partner and has then changed the shopping habit of Hong Kong people buying oysters and high-end ingredients.
With the growing business, Ocean Three opened its first oyster ingredients store in 2009, and continued to open seven more stores in six years. Their aim of reaching high-quality food retail and distribution allows them to occupy more than 60% of the supply of oysters in Hong Kong. Ocean Three offers diversified services such as catering delivery, wine and oyster tasting classes, as well as booking services.
