In response to the Hong Kong Housing Authority’s “Well Being · Start-Up 2.0 programme” to support youth entrepreneurship, MegaBox and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) have joined forces to launch the “Youth Entrepreneurship Journey” programme (the Programme). It aims to support young entrepreneurs and slashers in Hong Kong to step beyond traditional employment frameworks and explore diverse opportunities.
The Programme offers entrepreneurship training courses tailored to enhance business acumen, improve business models, and acquire practical skills in marketing and presentation. Upon course completion, participants will present their business plans to professional mentors to refine their entrepreneurial visions with practical insights.
6 winning projects will be selected to operate start-up booths provided with compliments of MegaBox for a three-month trial period during weekends and public holidays. Outstanding start-up teams will have the opportunity to be recommended to operate pop-up store or shop* in MegaBox (no less than 300 square feet) for a trial period of up to 12 months, turning their entrepreneurial dreams into reality.
*Projects recommended for pop-up stores or shops need not to pay rent, management fees, air conditioning fees, promotional fees, or Rates but will need to cover electricity and/or water expenses. MegaBox will offer free marketing support and basic shopfitting (including floors, ceilings, and walls) for the projects. 20% of the project’s monthly net profit will be collected. Other terms and conditions are subject to the clauses of the contract.
