i2Cool is a technology start-up company incubated by the HK Tech 300 project of City University of Hong Kong. It is committed to the innovation and application of passive radiation refrigeration technology (electrical-free refrigeration technology). After more than 7 years of in-depth research, the scientific research team has successfully transformed passive radiation refrigeration technology into commercial applications.

Passive radiative cooling technology achieves cooling effects by efficiently reflecting sunlight and mid-infrared thermal radiation. This technology does not require an external power supply, does not use refrigerants, and is an environmentally friendly and sustainable cooling solution, offering a new approach to alleviate current global climate issues. i2Cool has been patented in the United States, Hong Kong, and China.

Currently, i2Cool has promoted passive radiative cooling technology to nearly 20 countries and regions, including Hong Kong China, Mainland China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, America, and South Africa, with more than 100 application projects. It is widely used in fields such as construction, chemical, power and telecommunications, new energy, logistics, grain storage, and photovoltaics. To date, i2Cool has saved over 1 million kilowatt-hours of electricity consumption for global users and reduced over 800,000 tons of carbon emissions, with nearly 60,000 square meters coated with the electricity-free cooling coating. It provides a convenient, environmentally friendly energy-saving solution for various industries, creating a more comfortable, safe, and green production and living environment.
